// How it works

Three steps to
real-time diagnostics.

01

Plug In

Connect the device to your NMEA 2000 network via standard Micro-C connector. Or wire the Basic model directly to battery and engine. Power on and connect to your phone's WiFi hotspot.

02

Nereus Monitors

The device automatically discovers every piece of electronics on your network. Sensor data flows to Nereus every 30 seconds. Real-time health scoring, threshold alerts, and trend analysis.

03

Get Answers

Open your dashboard on any phone or tablet. See live gauges, your complete network map, and alerts. Ask Nereus anything — now with your actual sensor data, not just symptoms.

// Questions

Frequently asked.

What boats is this compatible with?
The Pro model works with any boat that has an NMEA 2000 network — which includes most boats built after 2010 with modern electronics. It uses the standard Micro-C connector. The Basic model works with any boat — it connects directly to battery and engine with simple wires.
What brands does it work with?
Every major marine electronics brand: Garmin, Simrad, Raymarine, Furuno, Lowrance, Humminbird, Mercury, Yamaha, Volvo Penta, Suzuki, Honda, Minn Kota, Fusion, Maretron, Actisense, Vesper Marine, and 100+ more. If it's on NMEA 2000, we read it.
How does it connect to the internet?
Via WiFi — connect it to your phone's hotspot or marina WiFi. The device uploads sensor data every 30 seconds. When WiFi is unavailable, it stores data locally (11+ hours of buffer) and syncs when reconnected.
Do I need a subscription?
The device itself is a one-time purchase ($399.99 Pro / $249.99 Basic). Cloud monitoring and Nereus AI diagnostics run on a monthly plan starting at $9.99/mo. Your device purchase includes 30 days free. Waitlist members will get exclusive founding pricing locked in for life.
Can it damage my electronics?
No. The device is completely passive — it only listens to your NMEA 2000 network, never transmits commands. It draws minimal power (under 200mA) and includes reverse polarity protection and voltage spike clamping for marine environments.
How do I install it?
Pro model: plug the Micro-C connector into any open T-connector on your NMEA 2000 backbone. That's it — 30 seconds, no tools. Basic model: connect 3 wires (power, ground, temperature probe) and mount the device in a dry location.
